Snowpack

2-4" of near surface facets on a stout consolidated slab made for some nice skiing on north aspects. This NSF layer was sluffing significantly on the steeper terrain, approaching 40 degrees, on Davenport and in Hideaway.

As expected, the snowpack on the south facing Emmas was pure 'mashed potatoes'/heavily saturated on our afternoon exit. However, the exit wasn't as heinous as it has been in past years due to overall greater snow depth and coverage.
