Headed up Mt. Timpanogos via Aspen Grove to observe the remaining coverage since our last significant snowfall. There's snow where you'd expect to find it: shaded northerly aspects above 9990, with larger amounts remaining where wind drifted snow. Isolated patches started at 9100'. The structure described above could be found anywhere snow continuously covered the ground.
Snowpack
In northerly terrain above 9900' where snow remains, a deteriorating 1in melt-freeze surface crust lies on top of 2-6 inches of faceting snow.
