From the moment we started hiking up White Pine canyon we could see a ton of wind transport on the ridge tops. It was blowing consistently all day from the North. We noticed thick hard wind slabs and pillows as we started skiing down the ridge between tri chutes and birthday chutes when we remotely triggered this wind slab. We expected such results but it was still surprising we triggered it from so far away.
