SS-ASu-D2R2-I Avalanche occurred on NE aspect at 6200' slope angle 35 degrees Crown Hight 8-12'' Width 200' Avalanche failed on faceted melt freeze crust Ridder triggered avalanche from top of path. They were not caught or carried due to speed carried into the bowl and exited the slab from the bottom. A close call.
