We went to take a look at the negatives, we experienced wide spread whumphing of the snow pack on our way out so we stopped to investigate the snowpack. We saw no clear evidence of natural avalanche activity other than a surface sluff and the results on the wipeout chutes at mammoth which we could see from our location. I've been gone for 2 months so thought it'd be a good idea to get familiar with the layers. See video.. Pit was dug on aprox NE aspect at aprox 10k depth was 165cm
