Quick report

Spent a couple days touring in the South Fork Two Medicine. Conditions were great as recent snowfall fell on supportable wind-board that was present among most terrain in the Two Med valley. Wind was calm to nil. Tuesday evening a good band of snow deposited a few quick inches before skies cleared and the mercury dropped to zero. Wednesday we found great skiing on low-angle, E facing slopes (6500-5000) under sunny skies before the onslaught of Westerly wind began to wreak havoc in the region.

One recent avalanche was observed on the North aspect of Flattop Mountain around 6500'. This looked like a cornice-initiated wind slab avalanche (D2 in size).
