Quick report
We observed an older avalanche on the Teepe glacier and new wind slabs forming at upper elevations. Most ski and avalanche terrain is not recommended due to low snow coverage in the high alpine. The Teepe Glacier was covered in debris and we saw a number of older crowns, some being over a meter. We think the weak layer formed October 26th and the loading event that ended November 6th was most likely when this natural event occurred. Rapid wind loading was occurring in the upper chevy couloir and lower ford couloir, forming sensitive wind slabs which were easy to manage.

Building clouds and wind throughout the day. Wind transport above 12k. No precipitation.
Snowpack
More structure is present than we may like for early November. The rain event last week has created a uniform rain crust that allows for easy travel at the lower elevations despite the low snow coverage. Better coverage above 9k than anticipated, the warm, wet weather event last week helped the upper elevations snowpack a great deal.
