- widespread
Weak snow, large collapse and long shooting cracks. I apologize if this is poor information, I’m not much of an expert, but it seemed to check a lot of boxes of common signs so I thought I would submit a report. I hope it is of use. Deep, large collapsing sections under my own weight. Long, deep shooting cracks when walking through snow; mostly 6-10ft long, ~2 feet deep.

Warm in daytime with calm winds, mid teens during night.
Snowpack
A landowner in the area informed me how until recently, there was not much snow until a storm came in and dumped 2ish feet of snow. This was evident and maintained true on most north facing slopes, with most south facing having much less. A visible weak layer from before the storm visible in snow pit (see picture).
Avalanche
Saw one, recent (likely within a few days), small slide on a 35-40ish deg slope on road.
