Great riding conditions on all aspects at the mid elevation. Wind was calm-light all afternoon. Light snowfall all afternoon. Got a big whumph at the top of Mt Elly before dropping south. Felt more collapsing as I approached the crown of an avalanche on the south ridge of Mt Elly.

2 avalanches (already reported) off of the south side of Mt Elly at 9100' SE facing and 9000' E facing with crown depths averaging 65cm. There were visible cracks on the slab between the two avalanches leading me to believe that they were the result of the same event.
