Quick report

Delightful riding conditions on the backside with no obvious signs of instability. Large drifts were forming on ridgelines and there was mild wind loading on NE and E slopes. Didn't trigger any wind pockets or see any cracking. No obvious signs of instability. Moderate pressure required to break storm slab from MF crust on hand pits. No cohesive slab in most places.

Snowpack

40-60cm of recent snow sits on stout MF crust. Unable to get new snow to propagate a crack, but fractures within the new snow form between 4 and 15 taps. Deeply buried facets are rounding and difficult to initiate a fracture on.
