Quick report
The omnipresent whoomphing/cracking of the past few days was replaced by the sizzle of a widespread rain crust. Ranging from 1-3mm thick, the rain crust persisted up to 9300’ where we topped out. Crust was breakable while skiing. Curious to see how the spring-like temps today/tomorrow impacts this crust as water is sure to permeate the snowpack.
