Quick report

Cracking
isolated

After a week of touring we concluded down at Finley Mine Junction. We observed on NE aspects in the tree line a punch-able crust layer about 3cm thick that would release quickly however, no large slabs propagated. This was around 8500-9000ft and on slopes less than 30 degrees. Everywhere else the snow was consolidating nicely. Corn was almost present mid-late day. At the top of Brownie creek on a test slope we did observe a crack made by a snowmobile. We skied this area multiple times and could not replicate any concerning results.
