I hiked to the beaver ponds on Broads in absolutely no snow. When I arrived I observed a couple of avalanches on Bonkers. I also saw a smaller slide near the Diving Board. And yet others on Dromedary.
I snowshoed in this area often and in early May 2024 the snow was super solid and creamy. I added a comparison picture looking up at the triple 11r’s there.
