- <p>A tale of two pits: We dug a couple pits in near proximity in the upper Wills Hill zone of Willow Fork and found highly variable structure and stability test results based on overall snowpack depth (as expected).</p> <p>Both pits were W, 9800' 29° and ~100' apart but 30cm different in overall depth to the ground. 140cm deep pit= ECTX (weak layer of concern 4F facets with 1 F slab above 110cm deep Pit= ECTP14, ECTP6 on Fist facets with pencil minus slab above </p>
