Snowbird Mountain Guides AIARE 1 Traveled mostly in Mid Elevation bands. We observed Light NNW winds. S-1 to S1 precipitation alternating throughout the day. Overcast until 1430 when skies began to clear just intime for sunset.
Dug a pit on a NW aspect at 9000' in snowpack representative of the backcountry. Observed November PWL and found a mix of faceted and rounding faceted grains. While we got initiation on the November PWL we failed to get propigation. CT(SC)@65 from Ground ECTN.
