Quick report

Cracking
isolated

We mostly toured on NE facing open terrain below treeline. The upvalley winds were cranking for the entirety of our tour. These upvalley winds loaded obvious smooth, isolated wind drifts which were reactive to the weight of a skier. The rest of the terrain with a more textured surface was shallow and faceted out top to bottom. I believe this was a slope with a very shallow snowpack that slid during the thanksgiving and xmas/ new years storm cycles.
