Quick report
Objectives were to troubleshoot and repair Tunnel Ridge wind station with the help of Adam Clark (Snowslip LLC) and Cooper Campbell (GNP snow ranger). We experienced warming temperatures, strong winds, and a moistening snow surface up to 6800'
•Glopping, sticking, transitioning snowpack thanks to above freezing temperatures
•Rollerballs and pinwheels on all aspects
•Skiing wasn't unbearable, but felt like mid May hot pow.
•Successful mission in getting Tunnel Ridge wind back up and running (shout out to Howie and Adam)
We enjoyed abrasive, gluey turns through fields of soft balls and pinwheels.
