Quick report
Rode out to our weather station on Lionhead Ridge to replace a battery and de-rime it. Dug 1/4 mile east of the weather station, on a NE aspect at 9000 ft, just off the crest of Lionhead Ridge. HS170. ECTP25 on mid-pack facets at 105 cm off the ground. Basal facets were Pencil hardness, 1mm, and rounding.
There was poor visibility, so we didn't see much terrain, but we did not see any avalanches or other signs of instability. It was snowing lightly on and off through the day. Winds were light to moderate. There was a little snow being transported, but not big plumes.
