Quick report
Toured into Marion Lake area. We quickly realized that it would be best to ski north facing aspects when we observed that the south facing aspects were pretty wind scoured. North facing shots skied well. Some pockets of wind slabs towards the top of the ridge. Kicked off some smaller wind slabs on the skin track (north facing). No other signs of instability. Warming (as well as increased cloud cover) occurred throughout the day. On our exit ski we found some hot pow around 5k feet.
