Quick report
Toured up Pike Creek to 6500’. 47 degrees at trailhead at 10:00 am. Strong wind at start, increasing to maddening levels at ridge top. Strong supportable rain crust on all aspects and elevations. Surface crust degrading enough to make travel/skiing enjoyable but remaining very supportable. No loose snow available for transport in our location but visible banners blowing off Little Dog and Summit. Wind loading visible on Summit from Highway but only at upper elevations.
