Shovel Tilt test showing the new snow old snow interface. The old snow from last week grew weak and sugary and now is a layer of concern. We will need to keep an eye on this layer as the snow stacks up.
Another video showing two different snow pits at two different elevations. First pit was NE facing and 8300' in elevation. Second pit was NE facing and 9200' in elevation.
