Pedley Pow!

Went up to Pedley to check the conditions out today and we were pleasantly surprised to find some nice fresh snow, and cool temps. when we arrived it was probably -7 at about 2000m, and warmed up to about -3. We went up the summer main summer trail to look at our options in the meadow and dug a pit. We decided it was probably safest to stick to the trees because of a problematic layer 35-45cm down. Then later went to a cutblock to build a jump.

We dug a pit in the meadows on a west facing slope to do a Compression Test to see what was going on with the snowpack. we only dug down 125cm because it was a smaller summary. CTE 3, RP, 15cm Down CTM 12, SP, 40cm Down
