Crouchers Gultch/SW Gultch

A bit of trail work on the route from Pikes Service station to the SW Gultch Cabin. The trail was impassable, and has not seen any snowmobiles since the last significant rain over a week Ago. Good to go now. A windy, snowy day. Low visibility kept us out of the Alpine, and in the SW Gultch cabin area. 10-20cm of new snow last night, was on the move with S/SW winds blowing 30-50km/hr, steady all day. Stiff wind slabs littered the exposed ridge top of the Picatenery Rif’s, SE-E facing slopes.
