Skied and scrambled Mount Chester today via the N bowl to W slopes. Found favourable travel up to the col with “Little Chester” then switched skis for crampons and axes for scrambling to the summit. Ceiling dropped so no summit views unfortunately. Wind was modest from the N with predominant cloud coverage for most of the day. On the ski out the sun broke through and the parking lot was slushy and warm. One recent large (2.5?) off the N aspect of Little Galatea, appeared to be cornice triggered on a solar aspect.
