Tenquille Area

On Nov. 11 there was about 50 cm of hard (pencil) base with some facets at the very bottom of the snowpack on N aspects, at about 1,800 m elev. South aspects had minimal coverage in this area. Between Nov 11-13, 50 to 70 cm of low density snow fell on top of this base making for deep powder conditions. We stuck to gentle slopes to enjoy mellow turns as there are still hazards under the snow, but on steeper aspects the new storm slab was cracking.
