Cruising on the Crust

Sheer ice up to approx 1100-1200 m, higher than that was slightly less crusty with maybe 5 cm of powder on top. No signs of instability on our terrain, but saw evidence of an old size 2+ avalanche on a peak to the south, on the northeast aspect (35-40 degree terrain).
