Avalanche near emerald

As I was touring up I remotely trigged a slab which came down off a convexity, which was about 10m above me. The slab came down and hit me and I was able to escape. It was about 70cms deep and appeared to be on a sun crust layer. It was S.E. aspect. Things on this aspect seemed to be quite touchy. However we also noticed shooting cracks and had serious sluff management as we came towards the slide path at emerald lake from the trees. This whole region looked to be quite loaded.
