Shames backcountry

We had a few amazing days in the alpine, today it switched to snow—very good snow! I skied the knolls both towards valley bottom and towards the resort. Accumulations varied, but it was very deep to valley bottom with very dry powder. (-7 when I left the car at the resort and -2 at my return early afternoon). No signs of instabilities were I skied but heard action in the steeper valleys.
