Went for a skin to the top of grassy knoll, and dug a few pits, pit #1 was at the top of grassy and we had a clean break about 45cm down (at the recent crust), after 8 taps from the elbow. Dug another pit on a south facing aspect, and it seemed to be more solid and well bonded, dug a final pit on a north facing aspect and had another cleanish break about 45cm down, right where the previous crust was, on the 10th tap from the elbow. Overall skiing was decent but snow was a bit wet and our group had issues with the snow sticking to skins in sunny sections on the way up. Snow depth on the south facing aspects was ~135cm where the north facing aspect was ~240cm. The north side had significantly more new snow and the south and top of grassy were a bit wind affected.
