After a great run on the Bonney Moraines yesterday, we went for Greens Glacier today to find a wet, heavy swamp all the way to the top. No overnight refreeze and overcast conditions till noon kept the greenhouse effect doing its work. The top 100 vertical on Greens still skied rather soft with a light zipper crust on top, the rest was just heavy snow. Lot‘s of pinwheeling and wet loose activity. Heard a few rumbles out of the south face of Ross and Green.
Guess pow season‘s coming to an end even on the polar aspects.
