Hero Knob

Quick report from Hero Knob today - we’re certainly hoping for more snow ! HA varies from 10-30cm. Some solar crust on southern aspects. SH was growing big in the shade. Loose drys from after the recent storm on W and N aspects. Mountain goats were aplenty and putting in some extreme up and down tracks with no result today. Still have a ways to go for sure before anything is skiable in the near future ... -12’C in the am - lots of solar input in the day - light winds - melting on the Smith Dorrien when we got back to the car mid PM.
