Variable snow surfaces. Warm air aloft with +5 degrees at 11am 2350m and +3 degrees at 2pm 1850m. Broken clouds for most of the day with the sun poking out around 2pm. Observed cornices on lee aspects with surface hoar averaging size 3-6mm and up to 25mm in boggy open treeline terrain.
