Snowpack

Contrary to the bulletin and other reports from today we found a very well consolidated snowpack on the west side of Surprise Pass. No failure on 2 ECT's (H30) and the same results for 2 compression tests CTH30. Most layers were starting to facet but were similar in resistance. 3cm Wind crusts were observed once in the sub alpine, with about 1cm of wind loading in top. No whumfing, no cracks, I was over all both impressed and surprised with the conditions we found.
