Quick Observation

5 to 10cm new snow over hard wind affected in the alpine. Soft powder at tree line and below. Two size 1.5 slab avalanches off Richardson ridge less than 24h ago, maybe from cornice failure from the large blocks seen at the bottom of the runout.

Two size 1.5 to 2 natural slab avalanches off Richardson ridge in last 24h. Didn't step down to buried weak layers.

Light wind up to treeline. Moderate in the alpine. Lots of snow transport at ridge top.
