Emotional Blackmail

Despite a lot of the instability being noted in MINS from the previous days, we saw no signs of such. We experienced some of that instability on boxing day, slabby snow feeling under our feet, and lots of whumpfing on the cats ridge. Today, our group of 6 set out to ski cats, 4 of us pushed further up the ridge to emotional blackmail, while the remaining 2 stayed lower to ski cats and keep an eye on us. The 4 of us rode the open west facing pitch at the top, good quality snow, some deep wind deposited pockets.
