Quick Observation
We carried out a CT on the South East facing elevation of Mongolia bowl the snowpack measured 105cm. The snow pack seems to be bonding nicely and settling uniformly. We repeated the test on the North West facing side of Mongolia bowl. Snow pack seems to get progressively denser nicely from the surface to the base, however we did observe a resistant planar fracture at CTM16 down 40. We decided to carry out an Extended Column Test which did not fracture during the test. Perhaps this elevation is just bonding slightly slower than the opposing side of the valley. We skied beautiful supportive snow on both elevations and ski cut the left hand chute before dropping. No movement was observed during skiing.
