Quick report
Toured through Mitchell Creek trees and up Vista Ridge just outside the Meadows boundary. Observed 1-2” of new snow in sheltered areas, scoured to ski and boot supportable crust on the ridge above 6500 ft, and small pockets of 5-6” deep drifts on the lee side of the ridge. Winds were out of the west and moving what little snow was available for transport above 6500 ft. Riding quality was surprisingly good in sheltered spots below 6000 ft and on the lee side of the ridge above 6500 ft.
