Few to Scattered clouds east of Merrit. Broken to obscured near Stevens Pass. Intermittent light rain. Near Merrit, the rain seemed more significant below 3,000ft based on how much snow was in the trees.

Numerous avalanches throughout the corridor. Less slides in frequent flyer paths than anticipated near the top of Stevens Pass. Possibly due to the reported freezing rain crust capping the snowpack and keeping rain from reaching sub-surface layers.
