Our AIARE 2 course toured up through Big Trees and Pineapple Pass. We observed no loose wet activity below tree line. We skied Denny Trees down to 4500'. We dug at 4900' and got an ECTX. Around 1pm, the falling snow was wetter, and we observed very small (2" crown) skier-triggered D1 avalanches at 5200' on a southern aspect in Denny trees. We observed similar very small natural avalanches on a northeast aspect at the top of No Fog at 4300' (photo).
