Quick report
Generally stable snow conditions with Light winds above 6000’ keeping the worst of the warming at bay through the morning. By noon at elevations <6000’ on the descent, the snow surface was softening enough for small wet loose slides on slopes over 35°. At the true summit there was a cornice crack developing very far back from the edge (see photo). We observed debris from a fairly large cornice fall into the Worm Flows gully that may have broken yesterday.
Avalanche
Recent cornice fall into the main Worm Flows gully and numerous <D1 wet loose slides on steeper features
