Quick report
isolated column at 5900' on ENE aspect at 35degree slope produced sudden planer failures on top of three different crusts in the upper half of the snowpack, each completely sliding off column, and another failure at the ground where lose crystals failed and the whole column tipped over. Results at 11, 21, and 23 and 29 taps. HS 85cm. Upper reactive crusts at 75cm, 60cm and 50cm above the ground. We did go ahead and ski steep terrain which was the only fun skiing we found today. Nothing moved while skiing. Variable crusts everywhere.
