Quick report
Decent refreeze overnight even with the warm temps. Low wind and clear skies helped. Easy travel up to Muir. No need for ski crampons. Good boot pack in to Ingraham Flats but little to no travel until today above. The ID is deemed "out" so we opted to climb DC. One funky snow bridge to cross but otherwise easy. Skied Kautz Chute at approx 11am. Firm up high, no softening. Lots of sastrugi and 3D snow. The chute itself is snow, not ice which is nice. Kept skis on through the typical rock step to Camp Hazard. It's quite casual right now. Maybe 500' of corn on the Turtle before it all turned to schmoo. Needs more time to consolidate. Submitting this obs on my phone so can't caption the images. One image is of Fuhrer Thumb, one is of the snow bridge above the cleaver that was a bit funky, one is just a general pic of the upper mountain.
