Quick report

Touring out the Anderson ridge, winds were strong and blowing snow was greater than anticipated. Snowfall was continuous throughout the day but accumulation was less than 1 inch total. We observed many new cornices forming, several natural cornice falls and natural wind slabs. Mid slope deposition of wind blown snow was apparent but no instability was observed associated with it. Primarily cold wintery snow existed on many aspects including southern slopes in treed areas.
