Quick report

the last couple days the crux has been driving up Hwy 80 to the SnoPark - highway closure yesterday sent me to Sunrise Bowl where I found full in winter storm conditions and super fun skiing 80 was open and the parking lot partially cleared today - I’m sure they’ll have it cleared out much wider tomorrow a couple of feet of new snow in the area was made easy with a good skinner put in early this morning - thanks to whomever was ahead of me putting in the work although there had been a lot of wind transported snow previously, and snow was again blowing off the ridges, it looked like last nights snow fell with less wind than during the day - wind was out of the east this morning moving snow back across the terrain - potential wind slabs I encountered were non-reactive Castle Peak NW trees and Andesite Peak held excellent quality snow that was unaffected by the sun as of my 1pm exit - wind and cloud cover seemed to be holding temps down - it will be interesting to see how the afternoon sun affected the snow
