Quick report
More snow fell in Mt Rose zone than fore casted or expected. Wind was blowing moderate to strong all day and snow was actively moving. Upper snow pack gaining strength due to warming/freezing. PWL definitely present but will be hard to trigger due to depth. Dug a pit on NE aspect with positive results for the P-slab problem. Felt quite warm on the initial descent at 0930. Even N facing surface snow was sticky and warm. Observed wet loose avalanche on the S face of Mt Rose.

HS - 260 @ 8550' on NE aspect. PST End 55/180, 145 down PST End 50/180, 150 down ECTX CT26 45 cm down. Broke on mid storm interface
