Quick report

Went for a morning tour on Grouse. 3 inches of new wet mank at 7,000 feet up to 5 inches of schmoo at the top. I dug a pit at 8,200 feet on an NE aspect. 60cm total snow depth. The ECT failed on isolation right below a crust at 30cm. Winds were quite strong but I observed relatively little snow transport due to how thick the snow was. I observed a few very small <15cm cracks from wind effect breaking on the upper crust. Conditions got warmer and thicker throughout the tour. Turning in the bottom half of the run required significant leg strength.
