Quick report

Travelled up west slope of Salvation Peak. No snow below 3300'. Did not observe any instability while snowshoeing from Salvation Peak to Oakes via basin east of Oakes (~4000'). Could not produce pinwheels or small slides on any slope, even later in the day. Snow was mashed potato consistency all day. Witnessed a lot of loose, wet avalanche debris from recent days on all aspects. Most prevalent on east and south facing slopes.

Avalanche

Found many loose wet avalanches from the days prior. Appeared to be triggered from snow sliding from above and glides off rock faces, etc.
