Quick report
Traveled up source lake basin to snow lake divide, then traversed over to the Cache Couloir and exited back over the divide. Snow was crusty and heavy and quite stubborn, hand pits were unreactive on all aspects and elevations we traveled through. Ski quality was mostly poor, but there were no signs of spooky avalanche conditions. Coverage within Cache was great, but skiing through the debris was not the most fun experience. There were plenty of rollerballs on exposed north facing terrain underneath the cliffs on the traverse over to the Cache entrance, but did not see any slides in that area.
Avalanche
Saw multiple slides that appeared days old, one in the upper source lake basin towards Bryant. The rest were in the Cache Couloir, where most of the bottom half of the couloir was filled with debris from multiple different small slides (all D1). Slides didn’t appear recent as there was quite a bit of snow covering them.
