Quick report

Traveled to Artist Point. Mostly cloudy skies, no wind. Found a breakable crust on solar aspects, 1-5cm thick. The thickest crust was found on east facing aspects above Austin Pass. Surface hoar observed on north, east and west aspects. On north facing aspects we found up to 1.5’ of unconsolidated snow that was seeming to bond well to the crust below. Very little recent wind effect, and no new avalanches observed. Skiing on north and northwest aspects was excellent!
