Quick report
No signs of instability were observed. The HS was observed at 212 cm. Winds were light and variable with no precipitation. We dug one pit at 6442 ft on an East aspect. We observed surface hoar with faceted snow down 20 cm. ST broke on 1/3/25 rain crust with moderate pressure and uneven break. CT broke uneven where faceted snow met next layer at 13 taps, also broke on 1/3/25 rain crust unevenly at 27 taps. Right side up solid snow pack with no alarming results.
